Time travel

 If I had to choose to travel to the future or the past… I would definitely choose the past because I don’t have so much hope on the future. In fact, I believe or future will be like the movie The Hunger Games (amazing movie, you should see it) or Wall-E. I am definitely very pessimistic about the future.

As I was saying I would like to go to the past, specifically I would like to know some ancient civilizations as The Egyptians and discover a little bit about the mysteries of the pyramids. Also, I would like to visit communities in our country such as The Selk’nam and Mapuches to learn more about their culture and how they lived before the arrival of the colonizers. As well I would like to go to Rapa Nui and see the competition were the winner was Tangata Manu or to know the real meaning of the Moais for their culture.

Therefore, as I want to know several cultures at different times, I would like to stay in each community for only a couple weeks and after that, I will go back to my time because I like to think that we are here for a reason, not just because. 

Anyway, I can think of many civilizations to visit, but I think those are enough because they are the ones that intrigued me the most.

A country you would like to visit

  I would like to go to England because It has so many historical attractions and museums that I would love to see in person. Well… being honest I don’t know so much about it but the people I know who have been in England love it, they say it so magical been in a real-life castle I think that is totally true because even in a photo it looks magical. Besides, London has a subway that makes it easy to get around the city, and I feel it would be a safe place to explore. I would mostly like to go to every castle, museum or anything that has something to do with history, also as we all know England museums are full of historical objects of a lot of other countries, sadly stolen like the Moai that is in The British Museum, so I think I could see a little bit of the history of different places. My dream job

 I would like to work in a laboratory, preferably in cosmetics because it would mix two of my favourite things: science and skincare (or makeup). Since I was little, I always like science especially chemistry and when I was a teenager, I discovered skincare and I become really obsessed with it. I imagine myself working in a laboratory of companies like Vichy, Eucerin or Loreal something like that, but if that does not happen, I would also like to work in a hospital too, that is the amazing thing about choosing this major, I have options for my future so I think the time and the opportunities would say what I should do. I think if I want to work in the industries, I need to take the electives courses that are related to cosmetics and the industries I don’t think so much about the salary but I have heard that industries and especially the cosmetics industries have good salaries (really good actually) but I promise I don’t think about working in there for the money… but being honest i...

Changes to my study programme

If I had to think about what I would change in my study programme, I can only think of one thing because I'm in the basic cycle, so I haven't taken the subjects that are most relevant to my degree.  However, if I think about my experience, I would eliminate one subject that I think is useless and to be honest is a subject that I hated, Electromagnetism. I would eliminate this one because I don´t think it is necessary, besides it is a prerequisite for some subjects that don't have much to do with it (in my opinion). On the other hand, I would like to have more "CFG" options to do. For example, I think we could have artistic courses to do as drawing courses or music courses, also have more sections of a course because some only have one or two and they are always full like Pilates, I have been trying to do that course since first semester but its always on a schedule where I couldn't do it.  Finally, a issue that the faculty have to fix is the small amount of sp...
